Circular economy is becoming this only sustainable way to perform business. Natural resources (aluminium, copper.) are under pressure and recent events (Covid, Ukraine war) made the demonstration that to re-localised activities and to reduced fossil energy consumption is a necessity.

Do you know that remanufactured refrigeration compressor recycles 85 % of the used compressor? This means every employee of our company save 20 tons of CO2 per year, the equivalent of 2 people annual emissions. Our process certified ISO 9001 – 2015 guarantee quality, performance and reliability equivalent to new compressors. In addition, 50 % cost effectiveness, improved delay and local workshop without sub-contractor make the remanufactured compressors the adequate solution.

The presentation will go into the industrial process behind remanufactured compressor. some KPI about compressors failures and other tips and trick. Founded in 1945, HRS is a specialist in the remanufacturing of refrigeration compressors. Thanks to its efficient staff, it offers a high quality and reliable service "Made in France". HRS currently occupies an industrial site of 8000 m2 where it has its production units, a fleet of available compressors and a specific laboratory dedicated to expertise. We rebuild all semi hermetic compressors of all types, all powers and all brands. Approved by insurance companies and court experts, we have a knowledge and a know-how without equivalent in Europe.

The compressors are entirely regenerated on this site. The reconstruction of the compressors follows a very precise process with a permanent traceability as well as an expertise phase:
- Reception: the compressor is given an identification number.
- Dismantling and expertise: the equipment is completely dismantled and analysed.
- Preparation phase: damaged parts are removed and replaced.
- Motor rewinding: extracted during disassembly, the stator is processed in the rewinding workshop.
- Reassembly: the technician assembles all the components.
- Testing and running-in: mechanical test with running-in at no-load, electrical intensity control, and then leakage and dehydration test.
- Finishing: Once the compressor is completely repainted and fitted with its identification plate, it is ready for shipment.
  No intervention is ever limited to a single part of the equipment; we provide equipment that is strictly identical to that of our customers; all without any programmed obsolescence.
