When considering a refrigeration installation, from a simple plug-in cabinet to a large market store, the need to shorten the time required for start-up and fine-tuning, and to avoid any waste of food or resources, are key factors today.
With the possibility to monitor the status of each connected unit, it is easier to have an overview of the whole system and check if it is operating properly. In particular, it offers the possibility to receive real-time alarms triggered by the devices, and by analysing data trends, it is possible to perform initial troubleshooting and be prepared for a faster intervention, even remotely.
Unfortunately, setting up a monitoring system with several devices can be a complicated task. This operation may require computer and networking skills that are often not possessed by the average refrigeration technician.
The Boss-micro monitoring solution includes a new plug-and-play version designed to simplify installation, as it comes as a ready-to-use pre-assembled panel.
Thanks to its embedded WiFi and optional 4G mobile connectivity, the initial configuration is easier.
The compact format, including a 7’’ touch display, is suitable for small convenience stores and cold rooms with up to 30 units. The customisable graphical user interface allows the end-user to directly access the status of the system, analyse trends, and browse alarms.
CAREL offers full support to refrigeration technicians with a free dedicated learning portal, which includes several tutorials dedicated to the setup of monitoring systems.
