When brazing copper lines in the field of refrigeration and air-conditioning technology or medical gas supply, unintended scaling can occur.
The GREGGERSEN compact pressure reducer Falke for nitrogen solves this problem.
The pressure reducer Falke is connected to the N2 cylinder and connected to the pipeline to be purged via a filling hose. The cylinder valve is opened and the purging quantity ( l/min) is set on the handwheel of the Rastflowmeter.
The inert gas (N2) fed in at a slight overpressure fills the pipeline and displaces the oxygen from the line. The outlet valve must be open here and a slight gas flow must be felt. With slight overpressure, the ambient oxygen is banished from the pipe system and replaced by the nitrogen as the inert gas. Now the soldering process can be started.
