Cable probes are simple and inexpensive temperature probes with short response times. But they have a problem: as soon as moisture comes into play, things get difficult. Permanent tightness is almost impossible with classic cable probes.
The solution that gives you long-term security: our overmolded cable probe. With this temperature probe, we overmold the measuring element and the cable transition. This gives our sensor superior watertightness (up to IP68) and vibration resistance.
Our ICSkin pipe contact probe is designed according to the same principle. The specially shaped measuring tip ensures excellent heat transfer from the pipe to the sensor. The eyelet on the measuring tip allows you to attach it securely and then measure the temperature of the pipe reliably and accurately.
The pipe contact sensor also scores points with its robust design. It is overmolded and, with protection class IP67, not only defies dust and dirt, but also the ingress of water.
Whether as Pt100, Pt1000 or NTC: the ICSkin contact sensor is suitable for pipes with diameters between 8 and 20 mm.
