Five decades of expertise in hazardous areas
In many industries and applications, explosive atmospheres can arise in the form of gases, vapors or dusts. A ventilation system is therefore necessary for explosion protection in order to transport this explosive atmosphere out of the room. Typical areas in which explosive atmospheres can occur are the chemical and petrochemical industry, hydrogen applications, the food industry, storage of hazardous substances or biogas plants.
MAICO has been known in the industry for over five decades as a specialist for fans in potentially explosive atmospheres. The company supplies explosion-proof fans for a wide range of requirements for gas, dust and hydrogen applications. The explosion protection is certified in accordance with ATEX and IECEx.
Fans for special applications
Even in non-hazardous areas, ventilation and extraction can face special challenges. For example, in environments in which acidic or corrosive media are conveyed. Particularly high fluid temperatures can also occur. MAICO also offers solutions for these environments and has fans in its portfolio that are suitable for fluid temperatures of up to 200 °C. The MAICO range also includes acid and corrosion-resistant fans.
