Air-to-water heat pumps
HERAS LWP
The air-to-water heat pumps in the HERAS LWP series cover a very wide performance range and can be adapted to almost all project-specific requirements thanks to a wide range of options. The capacity control of the semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors is realized steplessly by means of an inverter.
The air-cooled heat exchanger consists of a coil with copper tubes and aluminium fins, the fin spacing of which is designed to maximize heat transfer and reduce noise levels.
In a reversible design, either hot water for heating or cold water for cooling can be produced.
Water-to-water heat pumps
HERAS WDP
The water-to-water heat pumps in the HERAS WDP series can be operated up to a hot water temperature of 55 °C. They have a closed machine housing and are designed for indoor installation as standard. The model series is equipped with two semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors, which have been specially developed for use with flammable refrigerants. Capacity control is either stepless via inverter or stepped.
Dual plates are used on both the evaporator and condenser sides, i.e. both refrigerant circuits are combined in one hydraulic circuit. Only with True-Dual is the respective refrigerant circuit 100% in contact with the heat transfer medium and therefore guarantees full efficiency, even when the other refrigerant circuit is not in operation (partial load).
All components used meet the highest quality standards and fulfill the applicable safety requirements. All appliances are subjected to a test bench run with a functional test before delivery.
R600a booster heat pumps
Both heat pump series are also available as booster heat pumps in order to be able to use waste process heat at a temperature level > 65 °C for domestic hot water. This uses the natural
refrigerant R600a (isobutane) is used, which enables flow temperatures of up to 95 °C.
